Community Booth Space
We, at the North Bay Farmers’ Market, believe in providing an outreach opportunity to our community. To help create a vibrant community hub, the market sets aside one subsidized space inside our market for community groups or non profit organizations to promote and support their mission and outreach goals. We believe this outreach participation is critical to the success of our market by showcasing how diverse our market environment has become.
By giving back to our community, we want to feature an organization each week that adds value to our family friendly and agricultural oriented market atmosphere. We hope the groups use this opportunity to promote their upcoming events, projects, or even to just educate our patrons about their purpose and goals.
We receive a lot of interest from local organizations interested in having a presence at our market, and we typically can accommodate one organization at either one of our Summer Market locations. Community Booths are booked at the start of the market season and will be assigned on a case-by-case basis. We are a family friendly market that is welcoming to all people. We are looking to include community organizations that span a wide variety of interests and services. We have particular interest in groups that focus on agriculture, healthy food and personal wellness.
Our market attracts a diverse crowd of shoppers and to maintain that atmosphere of respect and neutrality, we do not accept outreach for political or religious purposes. Nor are petitions allowed.
Organizations are responsible for providing their own tent, table set up and all supplies (chairs, bags, signs, etc.). More information is provided in the Community Booth Application Form, listed below.
If you are a local non-profit organization who would like to share information about who and what you do to the public, download the Community Booth Application Document and send it back to our Market Manager.
